Sophie Wilkinson

I’ve recently graduated from the University of Exeter with BSc Geography, where I was able to focus on environmental sustainability. I’ve always been interested in the links between farming and the natural environment, leading to my dissertation investigating farmer and landowner attitudes towards natural flood management (NFM) in the Evenlode Catchment. This interest has stemmed from my agricultural upbringing in rural Oxfordshire, with significant amounts of time spent in the outdoors, along with family connections to farming. Over the past few years, I have been involved with the development of my family’s small farm in the Cotswolds into an education centre for diverse farming, promoting sustainable, alternative ways to farm in harmony with the environment.
